Making us watch lame ass Twitch streamers to get loot is bad mojo. I know that the loot is cosmetic and doesn't affect gameplay. But I hate Twitch and I despise Twitch streamers. I should not have to watch them to get loot for a game I paid 60 bucks for.

Well the last update left me with following feelings:
Psionic powers - music to my ears
Parasites temptation - poison to my morality
Drops... meh
I would look like some pimp, a couple sets with variety of colors would be better than one for sure and wouldn't spoil news.
I know it's probably a last minute decision and it's for free but it won't change the fact that about 90% players will not use them. Unless for some comedic purposue just to see unpopular character look d... silly.

I'm all for free goodies. This looks like it's going to be a "camp" outfit you wear on your downtime. It definitely fits the bard theme, like Scanlan from Vox Machina. It might also match well with other normal clothing because we haven't seen/heard much about it. I am totally down with running around in purple panties lmao.

You just said that you don't have to watch the streams, but in order to get the drops you described EXACTLY watching the streams. It doesn't matter if you have to do other things or not, you are still talking about watching a stream.



And I agree with you OP. Forcing us to watch a stream to get in-game content on a, mostly, single-player is bad form.

Unfortunately, I already bought the game, and this alone would not have stopped me from it, but when weighing if I should get another game from the studio, these things are a negative mark.

At least when Gearbox does this, for all the negative involved with them and Take Two, they also post the codes on their sites before or after and give several days to months expiration. No extra hoops to jump through or BS streamers to follow.

Unless someone from Larian is holding a gun to your head, they aren't making you do ♥♥♥♥. It's not their fault you lack self-control. Furthermore I imagine the vast majority are actually going to be playing the game and not watching some clown stream, and this decision is made all the easier because the cosmetics are ugly.

so apparently the twitch drop is august 3rd 9 am pdt, which means we'll all still be downloading the game at this point so we can literally just put the stream on and wtch someone make their character for 2 hours and then our download will be done and we can go play.
