Why are we hiring youtubers?

Can't believe you guys are hiring youtubers to voice characters. Thought Larian was an AAA company. Get PhilosopyTube out of the game plz, this is a serious game. What's next, MrBeast?

I care more about quality of the VA than how famous or rich the person is. If a youtuber can do the job well, then I don't see the problem. I'd rather they help up and coming VAs get noticed than only hire Hollywood AAA actors.

Plus, they have Matt Mercer voicing Minsc and J.K. Simmons voicing Ketheric for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake. They have their AAA VA.

I don't have a problem hearing Amelia Tyler (the narrator) in 5000 games to be honest.

Larian is not an AAA studio. They are independent of a publisher , so they are an indie studio. Also there have been plenty of games that use youtubers, bet no one would even notice they were in there if it wasn't for the announcement. It's not even that big of a deal.

Abigail Thorn is a theater actress with previous experience as a voice actress, so i guess she has the qualifications you want to see. So where the problem?

Second, isn't she an actual actress with a resume? I mean Witcher 3 had Angry Joe. I feel like that's a step up.
