Report a translation problem
There are many ways to the Underdark, so you can skip the super triggery spider caverns under the blighted village, the Matriarch, etc. and no major plot developments go down there anyway.
But yeah, the Act 2+ trailers Larian presented showed a pretty dope drider character, so I'm guessing you won't be out of the woods w.r.t. some 8 legged friends in the rest of the game.
But have faith: I remember for Dragon Age, modders replaced all spiders with wild dogs or something for arachnophobes. Maybe they'll do the same for BG3?
