A way to add disabled main character options? Or is that only a mod thing?
Before we begin, no, this is not a troll post.

Okay, so in a few games I have played, you can add prosthetics. In tabletop games, there are also ways to have a disabled character "restored" or given mechanical assistance. Braces, canes, full arms, etc. Even in DnD you can regrow parts or fuse/graft from corpses or magical beings. Not to mention the "dreaded" magical wheelchair rules that seemed to cause a tizzy a few years ago. And I love games that include this, not really a game feature, but customization.

I read that some characters in the game will get artifact body parts. The eye from the hag, although magical I was told, is one example. Same with one of the main character's arms being cut off by the MC and being replaced with metal. Yet, I cannot find "official" answers, and well, anyone can lie online.

So for those who have beaten the EA, are there body part options or the like? I want at least one of my playthroughs to have a character slightly resembling me.

Again, please, this is not a troll post. Be kind to one another, preferably.

Nothing like that in EA, but full release is changing a lot, including the character creation, so who knows?

The part about getting your eye poked out and replaced is correct. That can happen in game, but I've seen nothing about limb replacements.

It would be interesting to see artifical limbs since you can dismember people.

Shame, but thank you both. I guess it is also a good thing. I hate when a game includes something like that and the marketing department uses it in the promotional material. Well, except shadowrun/cyberpunk stuff because that is part of the lore and immersion.

3.5e sure, but 5e has no rules as far as I know about dismemberment as part of an attack or spell.
