Why Int is so comically underused is a mystery to me.
SAD means Single Attribute Dependent
But yeah I don't know why there's only one major Int class (artificer notwithstanding), and I can see why some house-rule Smartlock as a thing.
I think warlocks, certainly GOO warlock should be Int.
Following Lovecrafts lore, you are not making a deal directly with a Great Old One, it would be like a grain of sand making a deal with a human.
You are more likely to find some knowledge that opens your mind to power.
