Level of player freedom?

Havent really played the early access but what level of player freedom do you get? Can I murder the gay bear companion as soon as I see him and as painfully as possible? Will I be able to massacre anyone who looks at me mildly wrong? Will I be able to out villain the villains in evil deeds? If I cant do these then Im disappointed in the lack of options this game provides.

Also complete side note do you think this games later acts are gonna suck like the later acts in D:OS 2?

You can certaintly try. But when you meet him you're likely going to be level 3. He is level 5 so he has his first big powerboost and you do not.

You can stack enough boxes to 1 shot him with throw.

If you do not wish to use this time consuming method, there's many barrels by the chambers of the branding goblin that you can pick up to DETONATE him.

Additionally using hex and bane together will nuke his saving throws.

Well, his problem might be that I attempted to turn his insides into outsides. I understand he's upset but he should let bygones be bygones, right?

It's like our actions have consequences in this game or something. Truly an alien concept.

All jokes aside, I,ll still take Halsin with me. Not because I like him, but because no party is complete without at least one person to offer contrast to a bunch of merry misfits like Astarion or Lae'zel.

And perhaps, if what Larian said is true, maybe I can influence him to become a worse person. Which sounds a lot more entertaining than simply killing him.
