Carafe of water and Bottled water

Just coming back to this ahead of the release hype after last playing EA around 6 patches ago....

The water bottles and carafes - do they have an actual use or are they just vendor trash?

If I recall correctly, they create surfaces and can extinguish fire.

Useful perhaps, when a building is on fire - or when inevitably the Wild Magic Sorcerer make everyone catch fire.

They can be thrown to extinguish fires, create a water surface or even make enemies Wet (which synergizes with spells that do Lightning damage)
