I prefer posts asking questions that are easy to find the answers to, than oddballs with no interest in the game spouting absurd nonsense, which is what most of the other posts are.
That's because anyone who has played the full game and been in the city are bound by a NDA. So they can't answer your question without facing legal trouble. Unless Larian themselves deem your question worthy of an answer, we simply have to wait until that NDA is lifted to find out ourselves :)
As if the game is woke...what's woke for you? If you mean representation of minority groups in visual media, which is what the woke movement strives for, then yes, the game comes with a plethora of characters and you will most probably meet npc's of different race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender and religion. Is that so horrible? Is seeing a gay or trans character on screen having "left propaganda" shoved in your face?
Or do you mean it as woke washing, where companies force lgbtqia+ themes into their products to get a gold star from that community, even though the company normally don't give two cents about the struggles those minorities have? If so, maybe. Sven and his team at Larian doesn't strike me as giving a care in the world of what others think of them but in BG3 they have chosen to take steps for better inclusiveness like pronouns etc, and if that is to be woke or just because they want to create a roleplaying game where as many players as possible can immerse themselves in their characters I can't tell. Once again tough, is that so horrible?
