So let's talk dragons
How many of them do you think we'll end up fighting? I think I saw a dracolich or some kind of zombie dragon in one of the trailers so we know for sure that we will get an epic fight with one at some point, but how frequent will they be?

We know the Gith uses them as mounts, so I'm expecting us to fight at least some smaller red dragons at first before the big one that the Gith knight (I forgot his name) is riding.

By level 12, an adult red dragon would be a reasonable opponent, especially considering the bonkers magic items larian is putting in.

It was most definately a Dracolich we saw in the trailer. It fit the apperance to a T. The prospect of facing one honestly spooks me more than fighting Voss and his Red Dragon Qudenos.

Especially when we already see said adult red dragon in EA. You can try to fight it by shooting it with an arrow or a spell, but when you do it just nopes out since it doesn't have any attack animations in the EA version. I kinda hope that if you attack it in the full release you just get burned to ash instantly, because I think that would be funny. Maybe make that an achievement at that?

You didn't. You even get a dialogue choice that calls Volo out for talking BS.

As someone well-versed in the art of barrelmancy, i'm the one who is going to burn it to ashes :)

Well with smokepowder barrels, as it's guaranteed gonna be fire immune in the final release

Stealing a barrel full of runepowder should prove pretty effective. That stuff can blow up cities after all.

I think I should be able to get away without using the runepowder

Though I'm worried if its actually possible to oneshot the dragon with barrelmancy, that it sequence breaks something in the story later. No shot we wouldn't meet that rider, and dragon, again.

I may have stolen that barrel from the one possessing it and used it on Nere and his minions.
AFTER I already used the runepowder vial to free him.

Of course, it ended in game over despite one of my companions being rather far away, so you need to be REALLY far away to survive the explosion. Or extremely lucky.

It was a joke.
Jokes translate poorly over the Internet.

And it was obviously a Gold Dragon.

Just admit that you were wrong because otherwise you're really bad at joking...
