They really don't need that at all. They need to raise the level cap and potentially the XP gain. That's all.
This is not the game for you if the encounters are balanced for a lvl 12 party... and you make all 4 characters lvl 20 ... Just use a cheat engine at that point ... give Eldritch Blast a +20 to hit .... make it 100d100's of damage... make it chain to every enemy within a mile ... why are you playing a Tactical game if you just throw a fit and go "It's too hard... I'm going to be level 20 to make it easy mode" ...
You likely got frustrated in Act 1 from the 'challenge' and threw your hands up in the air and went "FINE! I will be OP then and enjoy the game!" .... Not the game for you.
Just curious, but do you go and judge everyone who uses mods when they play a game in singleplayer? Be it in a cheating way or just for added fun and content?
