No Unarmed Fighting Style...

I know it is not core, and many do not use it anyway
but it is kinda ness for a Street Fighter style boxing character...
any news about fighting styles?

It is a bit silly that, RAW, a fighter gets the same damage dice on unarmed attacks at level 1, that a monk has at level 11

Makes sense to not be in imo

Yeah, that was because it looked bad for like, half of the PHB classes to only have two subclasses.

thats absolutely true, especially some of them are not even good aka. Ranger

Eh, the changes they made to Ranger specifically in BG3 are pretty solid, so I'd have been happy with it even without another subclass.

I'm confused, there's a class-subclass that's made specifically to emulate unarmed fighting legends like Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee, it's the Monk-Way of the Open Hand.

Monk also has a subclass themed around being the Avatar called Way of the Four Elements.
And a subclass themed around being a ninja assassin called Way of Shadow.

Monk is the class we all know the least about due to it being changed by Larian and not in the Early Access build of the game, but it seems to me Open Hand is very much what you're on about, no?

I know it's definitely going to be my first pick!

Yeah thats the way to go anyway :D but an unarmed fighting style is so good to dip into, and kinda make an barb dip also worth

Not really kong fu, but Heavy brawler style, which is kinda cool aswell :D
