Lolth doesn't control literally every spider in the world.
thats not a bad option actually i did forget that was an option and works from a RP prospective but still would of liked a dialog also i suppose you never know might be something they sorted in full release
By analogy- druids are supposed to care for and protect wild animals. They're still allowed to fight back if a leopard is trying to eat their face.
my assumption was that she actually dose, she is the spider queen after all, i suppose it could just apply to the ones in the underdark maybe but she is ment to be a god i would think she would know about all spiders also the ones in the goblin camp know her there smaller or the same size and live on the surface??
i also think that they would be able to defend themselves from spiders but from what i got from the law and the convisations with the other spiders in the game is that they know the drow are followers of lolth and dont really attack them unless lolth wanted them to is the impression i have anyway
They are just spider-shaped monsters invented by Larian, with a set of completely arbitrary new powers (ranged spit, splash damage, random teleport, etc, etc).
