What does that even mean?
As in... the books you own on dnd beyond?

What? How would you do that? It's not a VTT, it's a video game that happens to be based on D&D.

Nothing in the game is gated behind D&D Beyond membership or unlocks. This rumor is false.

Sounds like a silly rumor to me. This is a video game that needs manual integration of new content, not just unlocking new content.

That would also represent a concerning level of indirect microtransactions to the game.

It's more the principle of the thing, I'm very anti-microtransaction, especially on day 1. If you can buy the DnD library on DnD Beyond day 1 and unlock all supplements for BG3, that's shady as hell, the game should have just had it for the price of admission.

And to be clear, I say this as somebody who DOES have everything unlocked on DnD Beyond.

Oh yeah ofc, I agree. I was just memeing around, at the pure sillyness of the idea of locking content behind dnd beyond ownership. Especially since we already know what is and isnt in.

Link rumour. I want to see it.
