When is the actual Release Date?

So silly question. The store page says the game is coming out on the 6th on PC but the gaming media are saying its out on the 3rd.. When is the actual release date? Bought it but don't want to play EA again want to dive head first into v1.

October was the EA release. Full game is August 3rd (next week).

3rd is the actual release date. AFAIK, there will be some day(s) before the launch to play (and download) the release version, just limited to act I. So, technically, it launches even earlier. That is, if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks for this, AUG 3rd cant come soon enough. I think Larian Studios need to update the Steam Store page, it says 6 Oct.

No, PC players 'only' get the month early release date, no 3 days of act 1 anymore.

That is the EA version as far as I am aware so its not advised to play it according to the dev.
They say you should only download it on release date 3 August.

The steam page is correct. It did come out Oct 6th. The full version or 1.0 is what comes out aug 3rd

Before the release date was pushed forward, pre orders were going to be able to play the full release version of act 1 3 days before the game released, not the 8 months old early access build. As the game's now coming out a month early anyway that's no longer the case.

It also states Aug 3rd if you read the EA portion of the store page

Ah OK thanks everyone for clearing it up, I must have misread the Oct 6th date to this year not the initial EA release. Regardless looking forward to playing on the 3rd.
