This made me want to do a dragonborn playthrough
If men OR women want to make attractive, "unrealistic" looking women then they should be allowed to fricken do so. Literally get over yourself and your awful morals. This is literally a fantasy game, where you can be a gd demon.
Also if you want to use "aVeRaGe hUmAn fEmAlE" bull, well the average male in the modern age does not look like they hit the gym, with strong jaw features, shoulders, and soft facial skin. Please tell me where the hell Superman and Batman worked out because I need to hit that gym. Oh wait, males in video games aren't "aVeRaGe hUmAn mAlEs" either, because it's a fantasy game. I don't think many people want to play as an ugly-ass man unless it's for comedy reasons where they make themselves look outlandishly silly.
So again to reiterate. Get over your awful morals. The west really needs to stop trying to bury beauty with "P-O-T-A-T-O" just because it makes some women insecure. Just like there's a lot of really good looking men of different design, there's also a lot of good looking women of different design as well. There IS such a thing as a petite woman with large breasts. Every time you see someone complaining about how "this woman in my video game is unrealistic!" there are a bunch of women that look that way in real life. Hell, I'd find it pretty insulting to find depictions of yourself in game as being called "fake" over and over again because people are being insecure.
Unlikely, it won't be on nexus mods I can tell you that. They banned a user for replacing the pride flags with American flags. They made up some bs excuse about it being a phony account user but then said they were all about inclusivity. Which sounds like they just want to force an ideology onto people that don't believe in it.
I wish the developer would give people the choice of having terms like male and female instead of generic labels like body types.
It looks like there will be some control over that in the final release. Right now everyone has sunburn though lol. In the witcher series it's actually part of the lore that sorceresses are all young and beautiful (despite their age) and wear a lot of makeup so I don't see how that could be a bad roleplay option for baldur's gate or dnd in general. It makes sense because you have magic and can basically alter your appearance.
it is really annoying because there are a lot of hairstyles. Having a popup or drop down that showed images of the hairstyles so you can click on them would be a lot easier. That might have been fixed. I remember I saw that they have the character presets organized the way we mentioned
In Nioh 2 and Wo Long Fallen Dynasty I was able to create a custom character that I haven't seen or come across playing with other people.
Remnant 2 has a very limited character creator. Also the women have this man jaw or brick chin look to them. Making the women look masculine rather than feminine.
Same. Wildhearts character creator is nice as well and also from koei tecmo. It's basically an updated version of Nioh 2's character creator. Looking forward to Dragon's Dogma 2 from capcom. Remnant is another western made game. At this point I am more likely to buy games from japanese studios over western studios but I made an exception with Baldur's Gate because other aspects of the game are really good
I have no issue with pronouns being in the game or any of the romantic or story content. My post is about the character creator feeling limited as far as cosmetics and face options. So I wanted to make that clear for anyone reading
