Without mods character creation is kinda limited

It's weird that some faces are locked to a specific race. For instance a lot of the nicer female faces are locked to elves? I know there is a mod that allows you to use those faces on other races but generally wondering why devs chose to "limit" in the first place. I feel like without the mod I installed, the vanilla character creator is pretty meh. Will character creation and face options be more extensive in the final release or will I have to wait for an update to KT's face mod because devs said that they wanted to please themselves first because if they added sliders everyone would make characters that look the same?

I still don't understand that interview. Nioh 2 has one of the more extensive singleplayer/coop character creators I've seen and I have yet to see the same characters repeated. Baldur's Gate is a 300 + hr game most likely if they add in more dlc so I want to play as someone that I can stand to look at for that many hours. In the EA i noticed that our character doesn't speak in cut scenes either so it gives more reason to have sliders imo

unfortunately this game is not about making sexy waifu characters but to roleplay and have fun with ALL types of characters. Get what you are given and stop complaining. Make your own game with the sexiest girls you like if you have an issue but this game is about a believable and varied world.

I'm quite satisfied with the character I have now using the games assets. I modded it so that It's basically just one of the faces that was originally locked to one race used on another race. Not sure where you came up with the words sexy and waifu as I never used any of that language in my op.

And why do I need to create my own game? Lastly why do I need your permission to complain? I can complain about whatever I want dude

I am sure there will be mods to improve character creation. Also, I have heard plans to mod out the silly pronouns bit, so it can be normal male/female, no weird stuff.
