I wouldn't mind if you're female mc or female party members being able to get pregnant
I think the last time one of my mc's had a kid was back in fable 2 days,Where you meet a chick,bang & a few days later bam a child.

I'm just saying if we can have bear sex then we should be able to have a baby that grows into a child that i can have fight with me as a temp companion :D

I would settle for a goblin companion

Rules how i would see this working as a male mc.
1.Find a female pm
2.Get it pregnant
3.You will be unable to use that companion for 1 act.
4.After that 1 act you get a baby.
5.wait another act for the baby to grow into a child or zap that ass with aging magic."it's a fantasy game"
6.Gear that child out & put it on the front lines as a "temporary" companion. Kids can already die in this game but to soften that blow, They could make it so when it hits 0 hp it runs off to camp & you'll have to take a long rest to bring it out into combat.

This is less weird than the bestiality bit with the bear. "oh it's fantasy & that be a druid" yeah? that druid is rocking a bear body sooo i win.

Dynasty Warriors 8 and 9 both had this mechanic, and it was different for each game.

For Dynasty Warriors 8 you would get high approval with someone, marry them, bang them, have a kid. later on in the game your kid would grow up and be of age to serve in the military, thus joining your army as an officer, and they would be your level, so they'd be your second strongest character next to you.

In dynasty warriors 9 you could go on dates (sort of ) with your chosen lady and eventually she will ask you to marry her, (not the other way around). You accept, get married, then at the end of the game, after you win, your child is born. and the game ends.

But in both cases, you can go into the custom character menu and find your child there. Which means subsequent playthroughs allow you to play with your kid, or bring your kid into your army right from the beginning. I had an entire family on my save file.

the cool part is that your child will gain the fighting style of one of the parents, they will have a random stat assortment so they might be really strong or realy fast or realy tough or a great leader (which lets you bring -more- troops into the fight, which translates into all your main officers lasting longer in the field). your kid also will be a random gender and then will be dressed up using pieces of clothing from the mom and dad, so she might get your helmet, but your moms skirt. It can really end up being a horrid looking thing but we just laugh and say oh those dang teenagers!

But you can customize their appearance in the custom character menu after you clear that save file.

Now, that worked for dynasty warriors because every turn is 1 month in universe. And a game can last a hundred months. So it makes more sense that your kid could feasibly grow up. And then each campaign has its own time frame as to what year it takes place in and how long that era lasted, so its plausible that you and your kid could literally have realistic timelines. it even has a "natural death" option so that older characters will die off (i'm so sorry zhuge liang)

This probably wouldnt work for BG3 because the time line just isnt there. Sure you could say "cuz magic" but it really isnt immersive at all. You COULD however create 2 custom characters using that multiplayer exploit. One would be yourself, in your 40's or 50's and then the other character would be your daughter whose finally 20 or whatever. you just head-canon that this companion is your child.

But I get it. It would be cool to have some sort of lineage.
I think dragon age, your character gets to bang morrigan and she gives birth to like, an elder god or something. and that gets referenced in inquisition, but even that, i mean, you get almost no interaction with your child/family so its as if it doesnt even exist.

I liked mass effect andromedas storyline of having you be your fathers child. and fall out did the same thing where shawn would be based on what you look like. really cool.

Its clear people enjoy the family aspect in these video games, if they didnt Sims wouldnt be as popular as it is.

If you can think of a way to make it make sense for BG3 i'll be all for it. But I think your best bet is to just create 2 characters yourself.

Yes i know of the emulators but i am not for them, just a personal stance. i do not mind if other people use them.
Fair enough.
Personally I played it back on 3DS when it came out and adored it.
But I think emulating it seeing as the 3DS digital storefront is gone now is an okay thing to do for people in the today times.

Speaking of, I should download an emulator and play it again one day, it really was a great game.

Eh that could be something to play around with,having it pass to the child & us noticing something is quite right with the child. I do not know too much of the mind flayer lore.

Edit:reminds me of dragon age origins, So there's proof of concept with that

I am rather surprised to hear such reaction to OP question. Since when pregnancy is so controversial? Everybody on this board was born that way. Should we get scared of pregnant women or what is the deal?

Devs literally did motion capture for their sex scenes, which means it is already porn with live actors. I wonder if they motion captured bear too.

you can't say that stuff around here, it's dangerous.

I think it was mainly due to how i worded it, i did edit the post giving it more of some ground rules to make it easier to understand but that one guy basically calling me a pedo(that's how i took it) for wanting to fight with my mc's family unit,Yeah he is the only one i have real issues with.

This is more of a silly post & i've been enjoying my time here & everyone has been pretty chill,granted it's something i wouldn't mind being in the game but i doubt it will happen

lol i get what you're saying, i'm just using that as a defense for people who think me wanting my mc to have a family unit to save/destroy the world with is too wild when that bear bit is in the game
