Half orc? but no Full orc?
Heard that apparently we are getting a half orc race but was curious as to why there wouldn't be an option for a full orc? I wanted me ''Ta baz em to bitz for da fightin'' feel like it wouldn't be as fun if im playing as some green skinned scrawny hoe

Because Full Orcs in a lot of cases are considered monsters that will kill and rape and follow an evil god.
Could they be incorporated as a choice? Probably. You'd be pretty limited in how you could play them I'd imagine. Half orc has more options and still gives you bonuses that are like an orc since they are partially one.

Ah okay fair enough i guess, From someone who plays a ton of fantasy type games is unfortunate... Though in a world like the one we have ingame i guess Orcs are a bit villainous probably for the same reasons you can't play undead or Trolls (though i kinda enjoyed being undead in DOS2)

+4 strength as a racial stat is a bit much...

There is probably a lore reason behind it...

.. something something... Full orcs evil, nobody would talk to them .. even attack on sight.
Half-orc acceptable because sympathy ... rape is bad... non orc side part feels some "connection" to civilisation even if shunned by it.
Connection mainly due love for non orc parent.

Maybe??

I'd be cool with trading that off for -4 charisma xD can't imagine Orcs being that charismatic
Might even trade a bit of wisdom too

This isn't like a warcraft like world where it's different races with different perspectives. Some creatures are indeed monsters with evil intent in certain cases.
Again, it's possible to maybe incorporate these choices, but given how the tend to act in the world isn't as open as something like warcraft or another fantasy medium might offer in that regard.

3 intell score would make gameplay a bit rough.

Even if BG3 wasn't using pick and choose +2/+1, the Orc never had a +4 in 5th edition as a playable race. (+2 str/ -2 Int in DMG, or +2 Str/ +1 Con in Volo's Guide to Monsters).

I get what you mean but i didn't so much mean something like Wow where every race needs to have their own perspective or dramatic thing goin but maybe something like Warhammer (Fantasy) or even Skyrim/Oblivion ya know some racial traits, Funny accent but thats pretty much it

Wasn't expecting like a massive difference in perspective but some similar to how the Undead race was portrayed in D0S2, They were playable, No one liked them and had a unique play style but they were fun

Though i do understand if they just want races that are just inherently bad

I see, I'm less experienced with Warhammer. I'm a little bit better now a days, but still lacking a lot.

I'm more disappointed that half-orcs still look like full orcs.

Mmm after seeing a picture of a preview/model they are alot closer to Orcs than they appear, Just seems they are scrawy-ier

I think if im able to beef him up a bit then im sure i'll easily be able to make do

just wanted to say i think you're an absolute alpha for standing up for masculine culture.
we want big orcs. big dragonborn.
There are currently 2 or 3 mods that can let you cast enlarge self as a somewhat permanent spell. one is the faerun utility mod, theres also magic items plus mod. i think there might be a 3rd mod but i cant think of it.

these can let you cast enlarge on yourself to make yourself a big boi. proportionately, you still wont be thicc. But at least you'll be tall and big.

also i thought they were added the big boy halsin body type?
If they dont, theres a mod called pinnacle bodies that will have the big size for half orcs and other races. but i still think the enlarge self mods are the better way to go.
