Non-Binary

Was kinda surprised to see Non-Binary directly named rather then just "Other", don't think I've seen that before. Anyone else seen it anywhere else?

they are basically the same thing, meaning not he or she. so it's not really needed for both of them to be there. But no i haven't, "other" is the one i see or the actual "they/them" pronouns

I remember seeing it once or twice but can't recall which games, I just know they were super indie games (likely visual novels) BG3 is the biggest game Ive seen use that term. Pretty cool, esp since most dont even bother with pronoun choices lol

Yeah its exceptionally rare to see, especially in big budget (basically) AAA gaming. Really happy with that inclusion!

its certainly an odd choice. non-binary alienates the other 70 genders and dehumanizes them as well as invalidating their existence.

At least, that's what the woke SJW's on twitter say. "other" is a more all encompassing 3rd option that leaves out no one. Its just odd out of the 70 genders they chose to include only 1, and by name. weird.

thats why most companies either dont bring attention to it, or just call it "other".
