In-game Class Details and Leveling Charts?
Apologies if this has been asked before, but I didn't see any way to access an in-game Class description, or chart where it shows you what you will unlock at certain levels. I am used to this in the Pathfinder games and cannot believe this is something that would be missing.

So, if there is no in-game chart, how does everyone know what will unlock at certain levels? I know you can find the D&D 5e Players handbook, but that's not guaranteed that it will be a one to one translation to this game. Is there a reference online somewhere from Larian? Thanks!

unfortunately not, definitely should be added.

Yeah it was mentioned a lot by people. Why Larian never even thought that it could be a potential problem for players is beyond me.
I mean do i really need to seek 3d party sources to even know what am i supossed to get with a certain class/subclass?

Do you know how to use Google? Do you know how to use a wiki?

Go to Google and search on 'BG3 wiki classes'. You'll get tons of them. Some may not be current. Some may not be maintained at all. But they are out there, and some are pretty decent.

Remember -- The game is still in EA and in a state of flux, so game info is a moving target.

I am partial to this one -- https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Classes.

I realize this may be too much work for some of you, so I apologize for any inconvenience or emotional trauma caused by this not being an instantaneous solution.

Geezus, my friend, I'm sorry if you're having a bad day. It seem like you need a hug. Thank you for everyone else replying in a civilized way, no need to be a ♥♥♥♥ about it.

First, I was looking to see if this was IN-GAME. Thanks for the others who replied so I know I am not the only one missing something. Second, yes, I am aware I can find this information off of google and some wiki, but is this created and maintained by Larian? I honestly don't know, I doubt it though. I was looking for an OFFICIAL source. Do you believe everything you read on google too? Where are these people who are updating the wiki getting their info? Shaking my damn head, it was just an honest question, no need to get your panties in a bunch.

Best way to find official information is where Larian posts their Official Updates themseleves:

I mean, you are not wrong. Wikis are cool. But why should we? Not only the PF games by Owlcat have this. Solasta: Crown of the Magister, a smaller indie game also based on 5E has this feature. If you are gonna check your progression... why rely on outside sources?

It's a good feature that only adds.

Why can't Larian add it? The answer is... they should.

Thank you! So it seems there isn't an official chart somewhere, but people have been compiling the data off of their own play experience and through these official updates. I do hope it gets added at some point in-game. Thanks!

Well said! I couldn't agree more

Dunno if you can see it in the full release or not. It would be good to have those tools in game. So you don't need to alt-tab and google to look things up. In EA you can't. I also hope Larian add a in-game ''wiki'' that shows class progression.

Everyone gets their info from the same source in the end. Larian update for the available classes and then Player's Handbook etc for class details. You just have to search in different places. All these Wiki's do is basically copy paste all that information in 1 place for you to be more easy to access. Or you can go read the official sources yourself if do not trust them.

As for ingame CODEX, it's nice idea but don't see it happening :)

I loved this feature in Pathfinder Kingmaker and WotR, you chose a class and you can see everything this class gets with levels. Priceless.

As I said -- I am sorry that checking wikis is so much work for you, but they are better than nothing, which is what you find in-game, and they are way better than that link to the Larian update, which is just a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pictures.

One more thing. If you look for wiki: https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Main_Page
Most reliable and very well structured. I expect the new classes to be added after the game releases.

Hey what if your internet went down JUST after you installed the game. The game should have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ manual that lists the classes and spells and the like, you know like every other game before it.
