Is a wood elf a cool race or do they suck alot

I love skyrim wood elves they are my faviurite but maybe trhey suck here so just curious

None of the races suck, some are slightly better for some classes than others but you can pretty much play whatever you want without having to worry.

I think many people would say they arguably the best race in BG3, since they get staple abilities like darkvision and have some utilities that benefit most classes.

They also look really cool! Definitely the best Elf imo. What I wouldn't do to be a cool looking Wood Elf with the hair and ears and freckles of my patch 5 character... :(

Its fun, I usually go wood elf if I make a spellcaster so I can use spellthief

Wood Elves are probably best as they get Dark vision (Can see in dark, 12 meter radius). Get 1.5 meter bonus speed. They are immune to sleep & are best rangers and rogues (Mask of the wild).

Unlike TES Bosmer, D&D 5e Wood Elves do not have horns unless they're wearing some animal form that has horns.

That's not really true anymore since there is no such thing as racial attribute bonuses.

You do you, man. Lots of knife ear lovers here will tell you they’re great for playing a Druid or Rouge/Ranger multi-class, but the fact of the matter is that nothing beats a good Dwarf Wizard with heavy armor and a battle axe.

Drow is going to be my ranger. Pretty close to wood elf and they fir gloomstalker a bit better

Wood elves are great. They look good and their racial bonuses (immune to sleep, darkvision, increased movement speed, longbow proficiency, etc.) are useful for lots of different classes. If you like Bosmer, you won't be disappointed rolling a wood elf in BG3.

Yes, I liked the Bosmer in Skyrim, too. So much fun sneaking and sniping!

Great race, they get additional movement making them the fastest race you can pick. Mechanically you can move further in a round, I probably do not need to tell you how good this is with certain builds.

With the new race system, where you can put +2 and a +1 to whatever stat you want wood Elf is one of the winners.
