Its not about certain words or about Minoritys and you know that. Most of the people allready got used to Lgbtq+ 20 years ago in the modern world.
Every sad situation when this was not the case is terrible and a loss for every person with a bit of common sense.
Maybe you can find it in you to accept that and that this topics now get spotlightet in a
bad manner in each and every part of peoples lives, then things will get less toxic automaticly.
Pretty much goes with everything. Consensual? Go ahead. Doesn't mean everyone wants to hear about.
Because we endlessly have to hear about the evils of "wokeness" and have every single game on Steam judged by how "woke" it is from the people voting this particular way, as their entire personality revolves around these obnoxious social concerns. The day they actually start to shut up about them is the day people will stop trying to drag them kicking and screaming like children into the 21st century.
"We endlessly supply this small handful of people with overwhelming amounts of attention because our political side has told us that absolute NOBODIES are a threat to my way of life" <<< Hey, I managed to reword your post to be not only more accurate but factually correct towards both sides.
The points are awarded so freely and to trolls that I've noticed some are obviously even parodying what they think people will freak out the most and despite being so obvious people still give in so easily.
Engaging with online trolls often leads to emotional distress. These individuals excel at creating hostile environments, spewing vitriol, and launching personal attacks. By not responding, you detach yourself from their toxicity, preserving your mental and emotional well-being. Instead of subjecting yourself to unnecessary stress, prioritize your peace of mind and channel your energy towards positive interactions and activities that uplift and inspire you.
Trolls thrive on attention. By not engaging with them, you strip away their power. Responding only fuels their desire for more disruption, perpetuating a vicious cycle. Ignoring trolls denies them the satisfaction they seek, reducing the likelihood of their persistence. When their attempts to provoke are met with silence, they are more likely to move on to other targets who are willing to engage. By refusing to take the bait, you actively contribute to diminishing their influence in online spaces.
Engaging with trolls often derails meaningful conversations and debates. Their purpose is not to engage in genuine dialogue but to sow discord and confusion. Responding to their inflammatory remarks legitimizes their disruptive behavior and distracts from the original topic at hand. By ignoring trolls, you prioritize maintaining a productive and respectful environment where open-minded discussions can thrive. Focus on engaging with those who genuinely seek to contribute constructively to the conversation, fostering a space for genuine dialogue and learning.
Online platforms are powerful tools for connecting people and sharing knowledge. By choosing not to respond to trolls, you actively contribute to fostering positive online environments. Your silence sets an example for others, encouraging them to follow suit. It sends a clear message that abusive behavior will not be tolerated and that online communities can be spaces of mutual respect, understanding, and growth. By taking a stand against trolls through silence, you actively promote a culture of empathy, kindness, and meaningful engagement.
While the temptation to engage with online trolls may be strong, the merits of not responding far outweigh any momentary satisfaction it may bring. Prioritizing your emotional well-being, starving trolls of attention, preserving rational discourse, and promoting positive online environments are all compelling reasons to resist the urge to respond. By embracing silence, we empower ourselves and others to reclaim the internet as a place of genuine connection, learning, and inspiration.
Best part of the scene imo, was hilarious.
Obviously. And it makes me mildly annoyed with Larian marketing, I'd prefer a more positive, enthusiastically forum environment than the replicaton of twitter culture wars we have now. Still, what is done is done, I still want to play like I wanted before, I just don't have energy for those radicals in both extremes crying bloody murder when then sport their hypothesis, not facts, and calling everyone who disagree fascist/commie. It's like we are in the 50s again.
...
BG1& 2 remasters where done by BEAMDOG.
BG3 is done by LARIAN...
See any differences here?...
Except that no one is upset about the Alphabet soup ebing present.
The people being upset, are upset cause of "Beastiality"...
But nice Strawman
Phew, good thing there isn't any. Nobody serious is making this argument. Also, when you call it alphabet soup, you instantly show your bias for all the world to see so everything you say on the subject is suspect.
this is verifiably false.
Republicans also are not the ones that labeled leftwing ideology as woke, it was in fact the left who adopted the woke moniker. They call themselves "Woke" which is why the phrase "virtue signaling" became so popular.
The LGBTQ community was not even originally part of the woke movement. The democrats propping it up just keep adding as many "oppressed minority groups" as they can, every year the group grows and grows encompassing more and more identity groups, but that isn't because republicans alienate them from right-wing causes, its because Democrats claim those groups -must- vote for them or they aren't "x y z group".
