That's why I say that it's best to create a custom character. Then you can converse with all of these wackos and ultimately discover who will be the last man standing in the end.
You're essentially playing a nurse in a psyche ward.
A guidance counsellor in a hospital for the criminally insane.
Enjoy.
I'm just extremely undecided but, yes, I think custom 1st run may be best.
With Divinity 2 going Custom pretty much negated access to a bunch of extra important lore.
Here... idk. But for example, I don't know what secret Shadowheart is holding, so playing her first would rob me of the surprise too. I'm strongly thinking of going custom, but... to Dark Urge or not to Dark Urge? AaAAAaAAa I WON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO PLAY THIS
something I disliked about Ds2 and it made me simply have to look it up on youtube because there was no way I was going to play it over and over. The color codes element matching combat was fun the first time (technically the second time, as I had played DS1.)
I'm glad they gave the custom character a path of their own. I hope it's as fulfilling.
Well except maybe Dark Urge. Since that should work very well with a character I already had in mind to create.
You're probably right about this. They wanted to probably wanted DU to be default for reasons obvious to fans of the 1&2, but didn't want to alienate new players not familiar with the setting by forcing them into such a specific role like the OG ones.
Damn I just want to play custom to not spoil the character stories to me now.
