[Spoilers I guess]The Three Main Villains
Yeah so, real silly move on larian's part to divulge their villains like that update after update. I suppose there were too many dumbasses who ranted about the absence of an irenicus-level villain in bg3 and they felt like they had to do something. but anyways.

So they presented Orin succintly, but like the necromancer guy, we know already too much, and fans can already guess too much about her. "she is murder" yeahhh ok. I hope they actually aim to subvert the expectations they set with those spoilery reveals, but no big deal in the end. Just nitpicking. That said if they really like just dvulged the "final boss/villain" which is what it feels like, it's really pretty disappointing.

So, here's the question. We got Necromancer guy of act 2 in his armor and castle. We got Orin, the murder-gal. Who's the third ? Minthara ?

I don't really see the issue here. All we know about that them is that they each represent one of the three gods of the Dead Three, their appearance, some surface level details of their personalities, and a vague idea of what kind of questline two of them will have. We still have barely any information on their actual backstory, how they came to power, what their actual developed personalities are, or what their goals/plans are yet, so there's still plenty to learn and uncover about all three of them still.

They didn't.

Although, I do agree with you.

Some things are best left for the player to discover.

Thing is, this a king-sized Larian game. There will be many boss-fights.

They are the lieutenants. The real villain is still to be found. So it's a mild spoiler in my opinion.

Yeah I'm just nitpicking as I said. But who would be Bane's villain ? they act like they revealed it but nothing comes to mind

edit : Oh wait a min. must be that dude with the army of robots in the city.

Its that guy with the messy hair and big brown coat, Gartosh I think. He's apparently some kind of political manipulator within Baldur's Gate and will try to gain your support in his political scheme, whatever that ends up being.

if he ends up being indeed linked to bane that would be interesting.

I need the illithids to be more than just "manipulated by the dead three", Need them to be the real movers and shakers, they're too good villains to be just vessels of the dead threes ambitions

What's the issue? Enemies were essentially shown in the trailer, too, for BG1 and BG2, so???
