Why so angry?

It's really interesting that people get so angry and upset about a scene between two consenting men that was made as a joke, referencing the jokes and questions people have been making about druids since the 70s.

A scene where you don't actually see anything that happens since it just turns to a poor traumatized squirrel and then fades to black, so you see nothing. Also it's a scene easily avoided, so it doesn't have to be a part of your game.

But scenes where you actually see stuff like the really disturbing pig scene in Black Mirror, the gross sheep scene from one of the American Pie movies or Brian the dog from Family Guy doing human women is fine? The main difference between this game and all the movies and shows that has done similar/worse things is that in this game it doesn't actually have to happen unless you want it to.

Because people can't take a joke or understand context. That and probably too bored with themselves with all that free time.

I'd say it's because people need a place to vent their daily frustrations and where better than a place of anonymity filled with a bunch of strangers you don't care about at all?

To be fair it helps if the "joke" isn't a very inside one and not made.. very publicly.

Because its all projection. They don't really care they just want to feel morally superior and validate their hangups. Its same when people say woke, we really know the reason they don't like wokeness

Is it because the woke change vital parts of some literature to fit their political views or is it something else?

For example the universally disliked LOTR series or even lately The Witcher series?

I would bet on that anyway, seems like a safe bet due to the backlash they've gotten for it.

Some don`t like the gay stuff.
I`d wager there`s about as many reasons as there are people.

My point is people call games woke if the protagonist isn't a white straight man. I agree some IPs were ruined by wokeness, but let's not pretend the word wasn't hijacked by bigots to label anything with black gay female trans people in it as woke
