I didn't really get attention on what you were gonna do in your party @Jon. What are you going to do?
(Origin? Race? Class?)
Also i really don't get it with the dark urge i'm really not into it. And i see that i'm one of the only one in here (or at least i feel) not into it. I intend to play an evil path during the multiple game i'm gonna do but not as the dark urge. I don't know he doesn't fit into my definition of evil i guess.
1. Can't change race on respec
2. Can respec companions
3. Tadpole skill tree, and seems like there isn't going to be a disadvantage to using tadpole powers
4. Pact of the Blade has been redesigned to give weapon +damage from charisma instead of str/dex.
5. Itemization is going to be super important to builds, which makes me sad but I knew Larian would do.
6. New background: Haunted One
You can do a Dexter dark urge path. Just take your dark urge out on bad guys :)
I'm picturing a guy that has zero sens of humor and always chose the most pragmatic and efficient path. And if people need to die for it, so be it.
i want to play this person. Instead of the potential bhaalspawn that, probably, the dark urge is.
But I'm just really worried about our good characters. Evils get tadpole stuff, they get the Dark Urge stuff, they get all the other extras you get in the game for sacrificing your companions and all. What do we good players get? I suppose we can embrace the tadpole powers and still be good? But I'm just worried what kind of an effect that will have on the endings.
I guess we'll find out! It's just that I know I won't make a single evil character, tried ages ago and they just really aren't for me. So it feels like there's so much I'll be missing out on. At least I'd like some kind of other abilities for resisting the urge and for mastering and maybe even controlling / befriending the tadpole instead of being enslaved by it. Like most other games do it.
