Forced Polyamory / cucking?

I've only played the game in the early stages, enjoyed the combat and tone and decided I will wait till full release before I start playing it for good.

Been perusing the forums and saw a few posts that say that you can get in a relationship with a character and then, they will cheat on you with someone else from the party?

Is that true? As petty as it sounds that is a deal breaker for me. Don't want to waste hours appeasing and building relationship with a party member and then be forcefully cucked.
If you are into that stuff good for me, but that ♥♥♥♥ is not for me, hence why I would like to know if this is true or not.

I don't think the game has NTR. I just think it means that certain characters won't care if you slept around the block.

I don't really like to play characters like that, my question is though if I pursue a character and am successful, if they will go and sleep around because "they don't care about it". That's a huge deal breaker for me and would like to know beforehand if that's something that can happen and with what characters it would happen.

This is not them cheating on you this is about you cheating on them.
It will certainly be optional and you don't have to take part on this if you don't feel comfortable with it.

I would insta-execute them if any NPC did that to my PC. But I am trying to avoid that. If this is something 1 character does, I will just kill that character / not have them join my party.

If this is something all characters do, I am not going to bother buying / playing the game.

That is what NTR is or netorae means. I don't think they will have that happen, but if it does, you can tell to leave your party.

Ok that would be fine then. I was just reading through the forums and someone mentioned how some characters (Like the Githraki Lady) sleep around even after in a relationship and how some Larion people said on the forums that companions will sleep around after they slept with you. And I am not comfortable with that, that's all. I am sure others are, but wanted to know if the game has actual NTR ♥♥♥♥ like that in it.

Well I would like to know if this happens with all characters (so I don't buy the game) or with a specific character. Cuz if this is like DOS 2, whoever you don't recruit early on might be gone forever, and killing a companion would just ♥♥♥♥ up your party power with no chance of gaining new ones.

You shouldn't buy a game just for romance. The romance won't be the only thing you will be doing in the game. The game isn't a romance simulator.

Oh yes she is definitely the type of doing that. Maybe don't romance her. I think it will be a huge step for her to dedicate herself to you.
But i strongly believe that what is important is if you do like her (with her or not) or if you don't and i suppose it will bring interesting cutscene about the matter.
