Shadowheart is easily corruptible or saved, she's middle ground. Gale is similar.
Wyll and Karlach are goodies.
Non-origin, Minthara is evil, Minsc and Boo are good, I think Halsin is good as well, but personally I've avoided that dude as much as possible.
I think that's correct, as much as I've experienced in EA and seen in previews, analysis, panels, and from BG 1&2, anyway.
They vary from fairly objectively evil to just very self-serving/misguided, or good intentions but selfish or have no choice due to circumstance. So I guess more neutral
The rest are the more good oriented companions, like Helsin and Karlach, but they aren't fully implemented yet until release.
Shadow is good by the way. Sometimes a bit rogueish but in her heart good.
I see, so Minthara will be "too" evil for my party. I do like Astarion though, I've always been at odds with Lae'zel though during my EA playthough last year.
How far that will go and where that will lead, I can't say though.
I wouldn't trust anybody in a game like this.
It's Larian. They'll pull the wool over your eyes when you least expect it.
Especially in a game this cruel and unusual.
I can already hear the bloodcurdling screams from my mistakes.
Thats what i want to see. I honestly love the speculation about shadow being a selunite brainwashed by shar alot. Thats why i want to mostly play a selunite Tav. Bringing her back to light combined with a nice romance is an excellent sub-plot.
It's tough to say when I haven't played the game too much. Asking such a question makes me have to look deep within what I want my character's outlook to be. Hence why I chose the black-and-white approach.
I guess if I had to say, I prefer people to treat one another with an equal amount respect. If a group is mistreated and hurt due to selfish reasons then I choose to punish the group doing the hurting ten-fold. Making them suffer as much as I can because it feels good to punish those who abuse their power (as hypocritical as it may seem).
I don't much care for the snobbish attitude of the Githyanki and would get downright pissed for being looked down upon and disrespected as a human. I can't turn away from those who are helpless (whether they be humanoids or animals) and respect bravery and courage for those who protect others instead of caring solely for themselves, those are my true brothers and sisters-in-arms.
I also am very welcome towards religion and various beliefs. I'm also planning on becoming a monk in my first playthrough.
So, who are my allies?
