Is the "bear romance" even a thing?

Larian never claimed you can have romance with a bear and we didn't see the whole scene so what about that: Halsin looses control over his bear form, you rolling the dices and dying or surviving, just like during the scene with feeding Astarion with your blood. Ultimately, there may be no ♥♥♥♥ scene in the game, only a player dead body.

That really did seem to be the whole thing - persuade Halsin to shift, game checks twice if that's really what you want, Halsin approaches, cut to shocked squirrel, wake up in camp.

Just straight up killing you would be funny though, player got warned.

Yeah it is forced on you in the start of the game where you have to select what animal you will sweet sweet love to.

It is the most important choice in the game.
