Companions tier list

Hello guys, can you share your opinions about Companions based on their story lines

[Acronen]

Gale - D
Wyll - N/A, being changed for release version
Lae'zel - C
Shadowheart - B
Astarion - F (unless we can go lower)

Keep in mind heavy bias applies here. I don't like the companions in this game other than Lae'zel who I don't like personality wise, but her character as a gith is fine. And Shadowheart I am a bit curious about her story. Never used Wyll (I was playing as a warlock myself), Gale annoyed me, and I hated Astarion (he's too smug for me.)

All are well voice acted though, that is one positive I will give all of them.

Do we know if the Patron based Warlock interactions are for all companions or just the MC? If the former, Wyll might add like 1.25 storylines.

I personally don't like Wyll voice acting, have some thoughts to make him main character so he will remain silent

Did you play DOS2 and try Red prince?

ON my first PT. He seems fine to me so far. Lazael or w/e seems the ... most unpleasant. Guess I'm in for surprises.

5. Astarion (only gay boys and girls like him , in my every playthrough we killed him every time , by far the most annoying companion)

Boo, I guess Minsc comes as a package. Then Viconia, though probably modded in. Shadowheart and Gale are great, Wyll I enjoy in EA but we'll see in release. Jaheira might be decent. The slave you buy from smugglers, if we get the chance to force him into service, might be alright. Astarion, La'zael and the rest, while their stories may be interesting, just don't tend to work as well in a fight for me. Then again, my PC is usually some martial type (like ranger knight), so the broader range of abilities is preferred.

For me they are quite similar characters (first impressions) Can you describe why did you like prince but Astarion is too much

I dont understand these english tier systems at all.

But i can say Shadow and Astarion are my favourites.
Shadow because i think she is deep in her heart a good person going through alot of darkness. And Astarion ... he is hilarious. And to be honest want to help them both getting back to light.
