But in this game is not very an alignment system so i guess that's depend of your interpretation of "being lawful evil".
- Lawfull evil
or
- Neutral evil
I don't know what it is but it is close to one of those to me. But for some other player she might completely be chaotic evil i guess.
''The Oath of Vengeance is a solemn commitment to punish those who have committed a grievous sin. When evil forces slaughter helpless villagers, when an entire people turns against the will of the gods, when a thieves' guild grows too violent and powerful, when a dragon rampages through the countryside – at times like these, paladins arise and swear an Oath of Vengeance to set right that which has gone wrong. To these paladins – sometimes called avengers or dark knights – their own purity is not as important as delivering justice.''
Not sure if you can kill all the Thieflings in Druids Grove without breaking the Oath.
That would not be lawful.
i mean say a village gets wiped out by a brigand
and you swore vengeance for those dead villagers
are u a bad guy for wiping out every single member of that brigand through extreme violence?
Absolutely no, you're bringing justice to an unjust world.
No one said there was anything evil about being a vengeance paladin. If anything the scenario you described is the stereotypical lawful good paladin archetype. But it also doesn't help that vengeance paladin is kind of vaguely lawful good paladins mixed with devotion paladins from previous editions. This is why they ditched the alignment system.
