which means you can get past the tutorial like super quick if you ignore all those things.
there was but apparently it breaks the game and they couldn't resolve it. no doubt when proper mod support comes it will be done.
Personally, I wouldn't mind playing through it every time. I actually tend to really love well made/lengthy tutorial sections. Because they feel fun to try and see how an experienced veteran can try and get through it as quick as they can. Or learning bit by bit new details I missed last time.
Kids, do I have some news for you!
So I was recently thinking this very thing. As it turns out there is in fact a mod for this.
And it does work because im using it right now.
let me look real quick.
...
its called the Tutorial Exit mod.
It gives you two spells when you create a new character. The first spell teleports you to shadowheart, gives you the rune, and lights up the panel behind you so that you can literally just spam left click and space and rescue shadowheart if you want her to like you quicker.
the 2nd spell teleports you to the helm and all you have to do is click the tentacles to start the cutscenes. then just hit escape until you're out of the cutscene on the beach.
it works as of the most recent patch, i was playing it just yesterday.
OH.
and it gives you all the items you can acquire in the tutorial area including the everburning greatsword. I dont think it gives you any experience points tho.
But having said that, I would have played the EA a lot more over the last year or two if I didn't have to go through that intro each time I restarted. I don't think I'll play through the final game as many times as I did the EA, so it's moot now I guess.
I don't remember that being in the game at the start of early access. Is that something they added later?
