How anti-intuitive
Outside of that, it's random chance which is what dice rolls are. You can get the dice heavily in your favor, but there's still a chance to fail the dice roll, just like there's always a chance to succeed even if it's heavily against you.
Just try not to be like a variety of people that claim the dice don't work properly because they can't understand how probability works. That conversation is so frustrating to have.
Use buffs that increase your chances.
Most people like to spam offensive skills because they are exciting, but buffs work wonders in games like these.
Sure, they may be boring, but they will tip the scales in your favour.
*edit*
Yep, just loaded up the game. Targeting a character gives a color around their model that indicates you are targeting them for an attack. If you don't see that color around them, you aren't targeting them.
The system gives you feedback, just need to know what you are doing is all.
I mean, I didnt even know you COULD click on the portait. I am going to try that next time.
It does, I suppose it's been a good 2 years since I played Div 2, so I was still operating by my old BG/ToEE/Arcanum standards where I just lazily click near the enemy and the attack is made. Don't get old.
