I'm just gonna avoid it in BG3, but I never really enjoyed the whole "bard seduces x" meme and always found it to just be another representation of the "horny nerd" stereotype masked as comedy.
Its why DnD has remained popular for over 40 years.
given the immense backlash, i'd say its safe to say it wasnt "minor".
Everyone seems to think its kind of a big deal, whether you're for it or against it, its definitely a landmark in gaming for a major game release to feature graphic animated cut scene bear sex.
I just hope we get the dragon bard variant too.
Here's the thing: these people aren't really upset about the sex scene. They're either trolls or culture warriors. Neither group acts in a good faith, and neither group is worth engaging because they're only interested in messing with you. Just ignore them and move on with your life.
I swear, this internet generation are such babies lmao.
Exactly, lol. Like DnD tabletop players were always known for their maturity. When I played it at 16, we sure had all sort of...ehm...encounters.
I think it's just a bunch of trolls and SJWs, doubt any sane person could be triggered by something like this.
Yeah, I would never be interested in having this kind of player at a table either, and I don't have much interest in playing the scene myself.
But other than that, I'm largely ambivalent. It's a scene in a video game I'm probably never gonna see. Whatever.
I just wish people would figure out how to move on with your life when weird stuff happens. But, hey ho.
