Two Thorms?

I noticed in the PFH they showed us two villians, General Ketheric Thorm (the armor clad villian voiced by JK Simmons) and Malus Thorm, the creepy dude with metal hands in the hospital scene. Any speculation on how they are related? I find it odd two totally different characters share the same last name

Edit: That is interesting tho considering they could name them anything they choose. Maybe there is more to the story and we will find out.

well now that i think about it.. Jaheira did say Ketheric used to be Sharran, and Malus worships Shar as well, so maybe they are "family" in some way?

Malus is not the only Thorm in town. There are three total including Malus, but we don't know how they are related to each other. Except the distiller who states that he is Ketheric's son. So I think when Ketheric went underground, some of his family followed.

There are alltogether 5 thorms.

(There is a female one but she is among the good guys:D)

I met the toll collector, the surgeon, and the drunkard, who are relatives of Ketheric. Not sure about a fifth, unless you mean the lady.

The entire thorm family took over the town if you read everything there is to read. isobel is a thorm. the owner of the bar is a thorm.

and that's before the shadow curse even showed up.
