Lol you really think there is going to be an actual sex scene with a bear? there is not even a sex scene with your companions so far.
And the vast majority of people laugh out loud with that moment, only a small but very loud minority is crying over this stupidity.
This is the dumbest meltdown I have ever seen. Every content creater is already saying that the writing is really good, better than previous Larian´s games. The story is interesting, the setting too, it respects the entire world history written so far.
But yeah, they shouldn't have made this game because one decision out of many others let you be stupid.
1) This is not a porn game or a dating sim
The romance options are a side adventure for your character for immersion sake. For the scene its a bit of foreplay and then fade to black where it cuts to a tramatized squirrel. This is not fappable material for those who want to fap to beastiality. Ive played porn games the focus on those is the actual sex described in detail and or shown. The focus on this is the romance plot.
2) Its not beastiality
Its a druid in bear form who can consent and has a human mind. Bears IRL cannot consent and do not have human minds nor do they understand english
3) Its good writing
A shapeshifter who has a bedroom problem with shapeshifting is a totally plausible and believable obstacle in a relationship. And they respect player choice enough to let you go crazy with it if you want
4) You have to go out of your way to find it.
You have to save haslin, side with the refuges, romance haslin, and when you get to this scene decide to pursue bear sex when your options are bear sex human sex or break up. If it wasnt in the PFH you wouldnt know about it
5) Its not the same as pedophila and not a slippery slope.
Just because you can think of a situation what if the druid transformed into a loli instead does not mean its in any way linked to pedophila. They didnt have pedophila on their minds when they wrote this. This is not a slippery slope to include pedophila as being normalized. It gos without saying but it seems like the moral police can only make their cases linking the content to pedophila in whatifisms.
Don't worry there are still some people with working brains and sense of humor. :)

What is a sex scene to you? Does it not exist in games unless its a penetration? Is there no sex in Crusader Kings II? Mass Effect? Dragon Age? Baldurs Gate II? How did Viconias or Aeries children happen? Are their kids the Messiah? Virgin birth? And the whole "We cannot show more on stream" what does that imply to you?
I get where you're coming from on this, but the amount actually shown on screen is still significant.
Jokes and memes aside, none of us actually want to see a bear having sex with a man. That's gross. We didn't, it was implied, it was funny. Gross sex stuff has been a deep well for humor ever since jokes were invented, this isn't anything new.
I think this joke is bizarre and more than just a joke.
I say a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bear ♥♥♥♥ joke could be
"I can take on ten dire bears!"
"Your worthless ass taking on ten dire bears in combat? Not likely! You stupid vampire elf"
"Combat?"
And leaving the implications for the player as it is a bit subtle. This is just a bizarre ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that happens. In game, it is not a joke. It happens.
1) Harkness test, maternal fornicators.
2) If someone decides after watching the scene that they really want to bang a member of the genus Ursus, that strikes me as a problem that will solve itself.
Just like how some journos think that seeing beautiful women or a minority being "funny" means you either will sexually assault someone or become a racist?
It may be unfair, but when jokes because dead serious, they stop being funny. I really can't laugh at this anymore either. It hits too close to home. Women are under assault by gender perverts.
I certainly won't be having sex with an animal, in-game or otherwise. Ever.
Western game companies are so based, they think women are NSFW, so they create men, with male bodies, and ugly female-ish faces instead, at least, most of them do.
But then gay bear ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is just fine, that's what people are talking about.
In a way, it's odd how progressives go all the way past and beyond reactionaries.
There was a time when women couldn't even act too, so men would play female roles, and they are doing the same thing all over again, fable, horizon, TLOU2, and any recent major western release.
At least the East still mostly respect their players, and women.
