there is a respecc/edit appearance system in the game itself, according to the pfh, however no word on origin chars being able to use it, and given that they disabled the option during character creation it's very possible you can't edit them either...
Except the dark urge, obviously.
As far as i can tell the only pre-rendering is in the games opening video.
Play a custom char which is the same race/class as the Origin char you want to play.
I know, but you can create your own with the Origin char you want to interact with and experience some of their story. How much, I don't know. But that alone will be tons of dialog and story.
But each his own. I have zero interest in playing any of the Origin chars. But it would have been nice if the player had the option to adjust their appearance. The custom char creation looks amazing and they have improved it a lot from EA.
Well, I have no interest in playing any char which has horns, a tail, scales for skin or hooves for feet. lol.
But I can see the attraction for some with the Dragonborn. The game will offer so many options and choices, it is mind boggling. I am not personally concerned about missing out on some parts of it with char choices.
