Dungeon Master mode?
If I recall DOS2 had some form of DM mode right? Like where you created your story or something?

Will BG3 have something similiar?

Also if yes, could someone sum up what excatly would it be (if it woudl be like in DOS2)? I never tried it in DOS2 but would love to give it a shot in BG3. Do you have complete freedom in world creation, encounters, characters etc.?

I don't think we will ever get what Neverwinter Nights gave us, ever again.

Nah that's a waste of time and ressource, might as well play tabletop dnd on discord. They should add races and subclasses once the game is done.
i agree

+1 will vastly extend the value and life of the game once we all explore everything. An easy and hearty modding ability would be a critical pairing with a DM mode.

DM Mode is pretty much useless if Larian release modding tools like they have with their past two games. Custom Adventure modules are what most players are looking for when they want to "extend the value and life of the game once [they] explore everything." Requiring a DM to play a story mod is a pain in the ass that most people are either unwilling or unable to deal with.

DM Mode serves the few players who want to attempt to use BG3 as a VTT, before inevitably giving up because it's just easier to use a fully-featured VTT that's not adapted from a video game. It's a cute novelty for sure, but its use case is limited, and its audience niche.
If Larian is going to support secondary game modes, they should prioritize custom campaigns first before moving onto a DM mode. BG3 is a crpg with single player support. While ttrpg enthusiasts have workarounds to squeeze some milage out of custom campaigns, the mandatory GM requirement of DOS2's GM mode hung the crpg and single player bases of that game out to dry.

+1 From me, something similar to what Divinity 2 has is already great for me. Had a lot of fun making campaigns for my players to play. Its like running a DnD game with various assisted tools
