I hope there are bear skin armor in the full game

Having my Druid wearing leaves is not fulfilling the fantasy of a wild man in nature.

Nothing says Druid more than a big man wearing bear skin or other animal skin like deer, etc. like in Diablo 4.

i never understood druids. Wearing steel is bad but killing an animal and wearing its flesh is a-okay? Its like the opposite of a "protector of nature"

Also if you're a druid, can you shapeshift into a bear, skin yourself, morph back, put on the bear skin armor, then morph into a bear with bear skin armor?

Hide armor exists in D&D, but leather is better and we get several sets of leather armor almost immediately.

Lots of people ignore that restriction, or limit it to specific sects of Druids.

I thought the exact same thing, surely trying to chat with animals whilst clearly wearing a creatures skin would be a bit odd.

Don't think baldur's gate 3 have that old restriction about Druids not wearing metal, it's some old thing from the previous books. Druids don't focus on armor that much either way.

Hide armor is the best for RP, haven't seen any bear skin armor sadly. Could request it to modders in Nexus perhaps.

well dont have anything againts planty armors.. I do wish there were more scrapy bulky armors with hides and stuff instead of point pretty metal parts.. We will see what they did i guees....

Probably miss and hit like all rpgs at least for my tastes... When you final find one armor you like, the stats are ♥♥♥♥♥, bad ... At least that's how that normally goes for me hehe. Helmet are notorious inj this department for looking ugly so much so that we now have hide helmet buttons in most rpgs...

Partly it's the sustainable 'use all the parts' thing, and partly left-over bits from previous editions that were themselves haphazardly taken from all over the place. The metal thing iirc was about nature vs civilization.

I dunno, it may be modded in but I think most mods will be for bare skin armor.
