Anyway to create characters ahead of starting a game

Planning to play a multiplayer game with some friends was wondering if there is a way for me to make characters ahead of us actually starting the game in preparation like you can in Solasta or am i stuck with pen and paper then just quickly rushing through character creator at the start.

Just the old fashioned pen and paper approach sadly.

Or wordpad if you'd prefer typing.

Well honestly getting the right adjustments in the color selection options takes the longest of everything, that's the information I took down when I was making a full party so I could minimize the amount of time I spent having 4 instances of the game open.

Everything else though is pretty snappy and quick.

Depends on the player. Some will spend a long time in doing it if the game allows it. Sadly BG3 lacks some options for such. But still has several.

you could create the characters before your friends play with you. game unlocks at midnight usually, so you could stay up, make the characters, then you guys play the next day
