Missing mouse pointer

It goes away when I launch the game. Things i have tried
I am in vulcan and would like to stay in vulcan
Disabling precision pointer
Full screen and fake full screen
Disabling second monitor so I only have 1
Updated drivers
I have run the launcher in admin, but cant find the game exe to try launching that as admin.

At my wits end. I played fine a few updates ago

Hey, mouse cursor in invisible to me on vulkan as well. Works fine on dx11 though. On vulkan it's invisible unless I change setting from fullscreen/fake fullscreen to windowed. I'm also looking for a fix as I was told game works better on vulkan as on dx11.

Edit: I've found solution. U need to go to windows mouse settings, and UNTICK pointer visibility options in pointer settings tab like: "mouse cursor trail" and "hide cursor while typing". It solved issue for me.

Yep this was solved. forgot about it

For me the solution was to disable any overlay metrics (Rivatuner etc.)

I'm having an issue where my cursor dissappears from the moment i boot up the game. I tried this fix and it didnt work. Im only having this issue with bg3.

@hj09861 I am having this same issue while I attempt to play from my MSI laptop. I have already played the game on my desktop, and did not encounter this issue. Super strange. Hoping to find a fix here.

Same here. It started for me today. There was a Windows update last night, so maybe related? I tried the workarounds mentioned above but they had no effect.

I am having the same problem starting today. I did notice the windows update from yesterday. I did not have any problems yesterday before the windows update. Any ideas?

same problem for me from last win update, even in Divinity 2, so its more like larian/win compatibility problem

Has anyone fixed this yet? Rolling back Windows Update installed on 3/14/2024 to see if that fixes it.

Yeah, totally a thing today for me as well. At first I thought it was a reshade related bug but then quickly realized no matter what I did it, in win11 the cursor is byebye.

Yes this helps, I removed the Windows Insider Preview update and have a cursor again.

Same issue here, worked this morning then installed a windows update and then the cursors is not visible. I even removed the windows update but still same problem :(
