Polyamory / poly relationships?

Just curious if that was a thing in the game w/ any of the characters. I know probably not, the extra relationship complexity isn't something a lot of games are willing to tackle. But given the scale of this game, and how some races (eg. wood elves) are explicitly often poly, figured I'd ask. 'cause who knows, hope springs eternal and all that.

Its also not call of duty, its a roleplaying game. Relationships in Role Playing games are as much part of the core of RPGs as spending half the game in a tavern. You've been playing too much Diablo if you have an issue with that.

People that get really invested in courtships/relationships in video games are so damn cringeworthy in my opinion. On the other hand, it's also incredibly sad to think that these people lack such social interactions in their lives that they feel that they can only find it in videogames. Log off and develop some interests that get you socialising irl.

That might be a nice idea if you're ever faced with the idea of deciding whether or not to do something like this in real life, because when in doubt, I trust larian more for help than a forum on the internet. Anyone who writes such well thought-out dialogues usually thinks very hard about what they are writing 😁 I thought so too at doki-doki Club. but they all killed themselves so rather less suited for that kind of tricky decisions...

I'm not sure about this specifically, but the Larians have to work on all this. After all, the original BG is ahead of almost all modern RPGs in this regard
