Character planner or full list of feats etc?
Howdy - Just looking for a comprehensive list if there's one available. Unless they're going to let you freely respec (maybe they are, I haven't checked in for a while), you really need to be able to plan ahead. I've been playing D&D long enough to know how it feels to accidentally brick a character by level 5.

I mean, you can always make any build limp along in combat, so it's not the end of the world. But I'm all about maximizing fun and limiting regret.

not that i am personally aware of but it definitely should be an inbuilt feature in CC to see the spells and feats your character will have in the future.

Agreed. Pathfinder had it. PoE as well. Weirdly, BG3 doesn't, or I'm missing something.

Yup, this would be welcome. Of course you can search in third party sources, but there's no reason to not allow people to predict in the game what their decisions will lead to.

It's an unfortunate requirement - Ideally, you just build a hero as you go and adapt. There's definitely fun RP elements that can follow from a poorly conceived character. However, in cRPG territory where things are hard-coded and there's no human DM to house-rule stuff or flex the rules, it becomes frustrating to realize the interactions you were planning simply do not work due to a rules technicality or a bug.

There's actually a lot I'd change about D&D in general. Stat requirements for feats always feel bad, especially when you aren't aware of them ahead of time. And don't even get me started on "only even stats matter". Every +1 to an attribute should feel immediately impactful imo. But I guess that's a whole other conversation.
You guys make a good point, and, as a result, I feel like this will come after the official release. Seems like the kind of thing they'd just add to a website or something.

Of course for everything else theres the respec mod, so no mistake is ever permanent.

Modding always solves a lot of random problems. Is that respec mod already a thing? I've been avoiding the EA for a while now to keep it fresh. Though, after playing a few hundred hours of Solasta, I poked my head in briefly and was immediately annoyed by the party interface and lack of Readied Actions haha - I'll get over it though because Larian is nailing a whole lot of important stuff.

Turns out soul coins let you respec.
