In BG3 character level cannot exceed 12.
Multiclassimg is split between your character levels, so the combination of whatever class levels you choose cannot exceed 12 in BG3.
and this is why i was asking. it really is.
Whether or not there is enough content to reach level 14 is another matter though.
Why 14? 13 is 7th level spells.
Is flight even going to be in the game for PCs?

Subclasses get abilities at 14, but the real reason is that 14 just works better for my multiclass builds.
The Fly spell has already been added to EA, but it's a little lackluster.
