My condolences, it is an often overlooked phobia, but glad there a people like you to speak up for the litt— Big people.
You could do what I would do, assuming I couldn't fix it with mods. I'd pretend they were something else. Like a hamster with alopecia determined to shave those damn Dwarfs for stealing all the body hair.
Your idea has merit, but I'm not suggesting it.
