That's more or less the problem, i'm a small time modder who makes tweaks to games if the tools are available. So it is frustrating to have to fix aspects of what should be in the game from the start, but ignored since it is easier than solving the problem.
One subclass is focused on conjuration. Just one out of 7.
I don't know what core features you feel is lacking, druids can cast and shapeshift into different creatures.
I concede the druid spells removed from the lists are rough. I wanted to see Bones of the Earth spell. Summon animals, woodland beasts, and fey should be on the list but not a core feature, spellcasting is the core feature, these are spells. Druids do get to summon the..... elementals? (We'll see how the elementals do) Missing summoning doesn't kill the class for me.
What I'm looking to see how reactions of a spore druid are going to work when the shield spell isn't even in-game. Spore druids use a reaction to deal 1d4 necrotic damage with a con save every round to creatures that start their turn or move within ten feet.
*'spell actions' (like repositioning Moonbeam, Calling Lightning, etc.) needs to be useable in Wildshape.* -I have to concur with this. It is a QoL issue for druids...lol
