I was excited but he got cast in a role that seems to have no energy.
i want to hear him screaming like a mad man, he does it fantastically. but his role seems too reserved.

He's a great actor so having him voice one of the main villains of the game is a huge gain.

Because not every role is the same, or plays to an actor's believed strengths. I think he's doing perfect for what this characters seems to be and giving it a chilling voice to go with it.
