but to be honest, i rather not have rest days limited because of this bug turning me into octopus dude. i hated getting force poisoned in baldur´s gate 1 when im working on achievements
The Green Hag tell you that the tadpoles have been modified by Netherese shadow magic, and when Omeluum (The Mindflayer in the Underdark) tries to connect to your Tadpole, he increases its power instead of learning about its properties.
In BG1&2 the story revolves around rebirthing deities slain during the time of troubles, it is quite feasible that this through-line will be continued.
That would go against their true purpose.
Does that include forcing people to do as you say, in conversations, or just the red icon powers that the person in your dreams gives you?
There is actually one timer in the game I have found based on sleep. Spoilers obviously:
If you murder Gale, a hologram of him pops up and tells you that if he's not resurrected within 2 days many people will die. And then if you actually sleep enough times to advance 2 days without resurrecting him, you get a gameover screen.
Cool! I love it when games punish you for being a ♥♥♥♥.
Yeah I found it with a playthrough to test a class, and figured that I'd pick all the options I normally wouldn't just to experience it. Was so funny to find that it actually had a consequence like that.
The Tadpoles aren't behaving normally
Its not the rests that get you, its trying to using the psyonic powers of the tadpole
