Is there a way to elongate the horizontal toolbar at the bottom of the screen?
I have a large monitor. I'd like to expand the toolbar on the bottom horizontally.

Is there a way to do this?

No, but you would have loved the original UI.

i would like this too... many items and spells.... not enough space at it

agreed
Funny thing is that this was actually possible at first, then it got removed with the UI redesign.

IF you are talking about the second UI and not the PRE EA version that second version had less space even when fully extended compared to the one we have now

Op max space you can get now is on custom bar..

I mean the currently UI literally has the ability to flip between panes that have your normal abilities everyone has, your class abilities, your items, and other panes as well as reset it back to it's original starting point where you can slide each ability section more open to access abilities or shrink it so you see less while getting more of another pane's abilities.
Stretching it out isn't needed. The only reason I can see why this would be wanted is simply because people were lured into buying an over sized monitor, your choice I suppose, and just want something taking up the space. But the way the UI functions you don't need to do that, so you can just leave it open and it's fine.

An over sized monitor? lol What is an over sized monitor do you think?

Also, like most things in life, people have preferences. Some people like a UI where you have lots of space and you determine what and where to put stuff.

I have a 1440p widescreen, and the spell bar is ridiculously small compared to the potential size. +1 for longer bar.

I'm using a 1440p monitor and the size is fine. Sounds more like a you problem specifically.

Over sized as in something overly long compared to it's height. I'm not interested in a monitor that is overly long since most games aren't set up to properly support such a monitor well, or at the very least you'll run into problems more often than if you just have a more standard sized monitor.

Look at this screenshot and say it is a "you" problem again :

Rather than the pair of you arguing over whose problem it is, it simply comes down to preference. OP, and I as well, would like to see more space there maybe in the form of a slider to enalrge the bar to allow for more ability placement.

It is probably not going to happen but it would be nice, perhaps based modders will come to the rescue one day.

Using UWQHD (3440x1440) myself and I don't have any problems with it. It certainly is a "you"-problem in that case or just a matter of preference or alike.

I'm not a fan of wide-screen, but they've been around for a long time. Devs need to account for them.

Not because you settle for less than people should guys. I mean at one point i don't see how it would impact you negatively to have the possibility to not only use a third of your screen available space. Using the ultrawidescreen to its largest possibility simply is logical...
