herbs...
I just noticed on my most recent play through, that we can't eat the herbs we pick, but mushrooms and a few other things we can. does anyone thing this is a start to the implementation of brewing potions ?

Bruh...

You smoke the herb, eat the mushroom, lick the paper...

At least 2 of the plants (though I can't remember their names) can be used in crafting.
1 of them is for the cure to Nettie's poison if you don't get her on your side.

If brewing is not implemented then I will be disappointed. It won't break me of enjoying BG3 but not being able to do basic brews will disappoint more than just I.

Cut the trees, charcoaled the wood and made paper. So many medieval disciplines like coopers to be explored.

Almost all herbs I pick up can be used at camp as supplies, not sure what you are implying by this honestly.

as of 2 days ago , there is a mint you can eat, when using it to rest, but almost all the other herbs are now only good to sell for a buck a piece...

They'll probably be useable for crafting, when said mechanic is properly implemented. Brewing potions and the like.
